2022 MPavilion _ with all(zone) including relocation to RMIT Brunswick Campus - 2024

Collaboration with Bangkok based all(zone), ZILKA Studio was the project architects for the unique, fabric based pavilion. This pavilion pushed the understanding of tensile structures and ways of working with floppy materials to create a celebratory canopy for public use. The 3 layer roor provided a waterproof solution to a complex geometry that satisfied regulations while also using unique never used before materials. Part of the MPavilion comissions by the NMF, City of Melbourne, the MPavilion are a space for public activities that includes, dance, craft, exhibition, concerts, lectures etc.
